Internship Programs

DAD Fund supplies financial assistance to high school and tertiary students that are in need. The criteria for applicants are: We provide local and international students and graduates the opportunity to learn and work within the actual working environment.  This year, the DAD Fund has assisted 150 interns with placements where they will work on the 2010 FIFA World Cup.  Of the interns joining the DAD Fund, 25 to 30 of these interns are from the United States of America. Some of these interns stay in South Africa for a period of 6 months and others will join for 3 months. During their stay, the interns will also get to travel and see the country with the DAD Fund as well as take part in a number of community projects. The DAD Fund endeavors to give each intern a proper taste of South Africa, through cultural programs and outings and by giving them a chance to experience living with South Africans in their home. Job placement areas include; marketing, public relations, entertainment, hospitality, technical & production, venue management, event coordination, logistics and much more. The DAD Fund will assist with internship placements post 2010 FIFA World Cup as well.
