LYNDON BARENDS

FOUNDER & PRESIDENT
Raised in Crossroads, Cape Town, Lyndon John Andrew Barends was the first person to complete high school in his family. Lyndon matriculated at Good Hope High School, where he later became a teacher.
He has played significant roles in diverse national projects from health care, children’s charity, banking and sport.
Among several other business roles, Lyndon is the founder & Director of Matchworld - a strategic sponsorship marketing company – and chairman of Panasonic Business Systems (Johannesburg).
Lyndon has a BA in Psychology & Sociology, BA (Hons) in Social Development, Diploma in Personnel Management and an MBA (International General Management) from Richmond Business School in London.  He is currently studying towards DBA (Strategy) in Switzerland.
 
GERALD DU PREEZ
DIRECTOR
Professor G T du Preez is currently the Chief Executive Officer and Principal of Helderberg College, Somerset West.
Helderberg College is one of the leading Private Higher Educational Institutions in South Africa whose graduates serve throughout the SADC region, the rest of the African continent as well as internationally.
He has served in administrative positions for most of his professional career, seventeen of those years in educational institutions. 
Having studied on four different campuses in South Africa and the United states, he brings an invaluable perspective to meeting the needs of students, particularly those from previously disadvantaged backgrounds.
 
SANDRA ABRAHAMS
GENERAL OFFICER
Sandra Abrahams completed her schooling at Good Hope High School in Cape Town.
She has held various positions during her working career i.e. Office Manager, PA to IT Director, Administrator, Acting HR Manager, Client Services Manager, PA Operational Director, HR Manager and consultant.
Sandra has also completed several courses which includes, Divorce Care Training, Facilitation & Coaching, Personality Profile Analysis Training, Leadership Coaching, Employee Assistance Program training, Corporate Governance training, Learner Facilitation training, Finance for non-financials, OIM Training - understanding based leadership, Employee Relations Training, Presentation Skills, Leadership Excellence Achievement Program, Conflict Resolution Training, Community Mediator Training, Public speaking.
Sandra has been continuously involved in programmes that give back to the community. She also has a strong passion for women ministries and brings a wealth of experience & know how to this organization.

EZLYN BARENDS
MARKETING & PROGRAM COORDINATOR
Ezlyn Olivia Barends started her marketing and communications career in 2005 as a trendspotter & event reporter for Instant Grass, a youth viral marketing agency where she worked on many prestige clients that focused on the youth market. 
She then moved to the advertising industry where she managed advertising campaigns for large international brands. Ezlyn joined Matchworld, a sponsorship marketing company in 2009 and has since coordinated numerous 2010 FIFA World Cup related projects.
Ezlyn has always had an interest and love for programs dedicated at enriching the lives of others. From a young age she was involved in regular community projects. In 2000, she joined a missionary group from the United States of America, to embark on a journey to Lesotho where the built a church for the community. In 2005 and 2006, she worked at Ons Plek, a home for young girls that had been abandoned. Here, she gave weekly life skills and women empowerment lesson to the young girls.
Ezlyn holds a Higher Diploma in Marketing Communications and is currently completing her Bachelors of Business Administration degree part time.
