The Dad Fund launched its internship program around the 2010 FIFA World Cup. The Dad Fund placed 35 international interns and 215 local interns on various world cup related projects.

The local interns were sourced and placed in all nine provinces across South Africa.

International Internships:

The Dad Fund assists South African students with funding and information on short-term internship opportunities abroad (6 to 12 weeks). The main aim of the international internships is for young South Africans to gain international experience and exposure.  The Dad Fund requires that all interns return to South Africa and contribute to the growth of this country.

Cape Town Bike Festival Internships

The event will run from 16 to 18 December 2011 at the Green Point Stadium, Cape Town and will include Supercross, Junior MX and scooter racing, bike expo's and shows and Miss Bike SA. Live performances by Seether and Masters of Dirt are also on the cards.
